Senior Drainage Engineer (with railway experience)

Are you an experienced Drainage Engineer with railway experience?

Following continued growth in our rail division, we’re looking to recruit both a Drainage Engineer and a Senior Drainage Engineer with proven railway experience.

Drainage Engineer responsibilities

Depending on your level of experience, your day-to-day responsibilities could include:

• Assisting or leading CCTV surveys of drainage systems
• Operating or supporting high-pressure jetting equipment
• Installing patch liners and undertaking other remedial works
• Lifting and securing manhole covers
• Entering and working in confined spaces
• Maintaining drainage vehicles and equipment
• Plotting drawings and recording site information
• Supporting or leading site teams to complete works safely and efficiently
• Responding to emergency callouts (where required)

Drainage Engineer requirements

• Experience in rail drainage works (essential)
• Minimum 5 years’ rail experience
• PTS, AC, and DCCR required
• COSS qualification (advantageous but not essential)
• A full UK driving licence
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• Experience in drainage, civils or utilities (advantageous but not essential)
• Valid CSCS card (desirable)
• Experience in rail drainage works (desirable)
